I first started taking pictures and got my first camera in high school. Back in the days of film cameras. I could process and print my own black and white film, I went to college and got a better camera, and met an ex great uncle, who just happened to be the famous photographer, Gene Furness ( He shot Lucille Ball and other famous people of that time.) who loaned me other cameras, critiqued my work and encouraged me to become a pet photographer . (Even when the teachers at college all looked at me like I was crazy.) Things happened, digital photos became the norm and I just shot a few things here and there for friends. Years later, I finally got around to upgrading my camera and am beginning to work on my portfolio once more.
